Welcome to the world, baby kitten!

So here's the long awaited new arrival. She is seven weeks old and weights 1.6 pounds. We've given in and taken in a pathetic homeless kitten. Actually this kitten was a 30th birthday gift for Amelia, but she did crawl out of the woods in Homerville, Ohio and have no where to go, so here she is in Columbus...far, far away from the cold, dark and scary woods.

DAYDREAMS

Once again I have been thinking of the state of my life and dreaming all of my little dreams and wishing that I had done something more with it. I've always wanted to be a chemist, an architect, even a nun. I know what some of you are thinking, no way a nun but yes a nun and no I am not Catholic but still...a girl can dream can't she...

I have always loved architecture and have been looking at some pretty cool pictures online of cathedrals and wishing I could be off visiting them instead of looking at them through someone else's lens. I really want to start doing some traveling but don't seem to have much time or money to do so, which kind of sucks.

I want to write and study and build and craft and create, none of which I am doing right now. I know that I am lazy and could be doing most of this when I go home in the evenings but I don't so...I suck!

OK, so I am in love with Katherine Moennig there is no doubt about it...sorry Amelia! Isn't she b-e-a-t-i-f--- ah screw it HOT HOT HOT! So we don't get Showtime at home which sucks but allows me to borrow the DVDs of the L-Word from the library and watch every episode back to back which I enjoy immensely. Anyways, just a short quick post, wanted the world to see the hottie that is (in my head) my secret lover :) Oh and by the way the misery on her face in the picture with the white dress is exactly the misery that is on my face when I wear a dress...LOL ahh Katherine so cute!

Fall Apple Picking

Here I am eating my first apple on our day at the apple picking farm What fun! We had the best time yesterday in Mansfield, Ohio...I know what you are thinking Mansfield..but yes we did. We picked apples, bought all kinds of crap that no one needs and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Who knew that you could have fun on a farm..certainly not this city girl!

Gilmore Girls

So I am probably a little too old to be obsessed with a television show but alas I am and have been for awhile now. I hope that you all watch Gilmore Girls or plan on it because it is in it's 7th season and there are rumors, rumors, rumors that this may be the last season. I would be devastated, devastated, devastated. So this post is basically a plea...watch it, you'll love it!

Love is...

Isn't it cute how dogs love you no matter what? They don't care that you have just been walking around all day and that your feet have been in your shoes all day or that your feet stink so bad that you don't even want them near you? Dogs just want to be with you and near you and rest their cute little faces on your foot to let you know that they missed you. I love Bridgette. I hope that some day if I have a baby that it is as cute and loving as she is.
