This is how the Rachael Ray cake turned out...the frosting was a bit soupy but what the hell...I tried right? The cake was supposed to be four layers but the recipe said "cut with a serrated knife" and because I don't know what a serrated knife is...I decided two layers was good enough ;)

a few things:
1. this looks EL YUMMO!
2. frosting is tricky so don't beat yourself up too much.
3. a serrated knife is any knife with a jaggy edge, like a steak knife. i have the most luck using a bread slicer for cakes.
