EEK!

Last week I went to a local thrift store to find baby G some pants since she is so long that she is off the charts. We can't keep her in pants, it's ridiculous and I refuse to pay more than $2.00 for pants that she will outgrow in a week!

At the thrift store the back section is filled with toys and I was looking for balls for her to play with since she loves the ones at her BFF Deven's house. When I had finally found everything we needed I made my way to the front of the store and saw a man on the ground, handcuffed, with three guns laying on the counter in front of me. I was shocked! I asked the cashier what was going on and she said he had just tried to rob them and the three guns were his! I could not believe it, I hadn't even realized it was going on and I could have gotten shot...not even considering what else could have happened! Luckily enough a husband and wife, who happened to be police officers, had been shopping as well so they took him down.

I write all this to say thanks to the cops, not that they read this but a thank you is necessary from my end...I am thankful to be back home and safe with Baby G and Amelia.

If you know me, you know I am a PROCRASTINATOR! I have a serious problem with it and am trying to be better.

Currently I have at least 5 to do lists in my notebook and am to-do-ing none of them at the moment. I wanted to get a lot of it done before my classes started up again, but next week I am back in school so clearly I failed miserably at these bullet points...

• Do not procrastinate
• Start with the quick easy stuff
• Get it done before Spring Sem. starts

GRRRR, damn it once again I am behind on everything. Is there a pill for procrastinators?

Milestones

Baby G just turned 8 months old and it is amazing the things she has accomplished just over this past weekend!

She ate spaghetti for the first time!

Pulled herself up to almost standing!

Conquered her mommy!
And her bottom two teeth are finally all the way through!

And....she was just plain cute!

It was a long weekend!

Oh, and she finally drank from a straw and had German Chocolate Cake but I didn't get a picture of either of those things ;(

Not a lot of time but Happy New Year

Hey y'all! Hope everyone had a safe, fun, and crazy new year's eve! Since it was our first with baby G we stayed at home and had a few friends over. We also made homemade Chinese food, which was quite delicious! We played a board game and the Wii which is always fun!

Baby G enjoyed the evening as much as we did, napping on and off but staying awake for the ball to drop.

My new year's resolution you ask? Well I'd like to learn to sew...eek we shall see!
