BOOK CLUBS!

Kristine and I have decided to start a book club and I am PUMPED about it. First of all I am an avid reader. I'm kind of like Rory on Gilmore Girls, I always have a book with me and books have overtaken my nightstand. Currently I am reading two books, Cloudbreaking by an up and coming author right here in Columbus, Paul Fuhr...GET IT at http://www.therainfarm.com this is a really original and thought provoking book. Paul will also be the guest at our first book club meeting which I think is an excellent way to kick things off.

I am also reading, This Day in the Life: Diaries From Women Across America. Get it here...http://www.amazon.com/This-Day-Life-Diaries-America/dp/1400082323/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b/104-6174553-4395911
I was really looking forward to reading this book but it isn't what I was expecting. I bought it because there is a diary day from a nun (and those of you who know me know I am obsessed with nuns) I've wanted to be a nun forever! The other diary days aren't as exciting as I hoped they would be :(

Oh well, wish us luck with our book club and buy, buy, buy Paul's book. Support a local artist!

I am looking forward to this and wish I could be there with you. But I will be there from a distance. :)

I missed this post before. Book clubs are the cat's pajamas! I'm reading "The Subtle Knife," and "The Alchemist." I just finished "Reading Lolita in Tehran," and "Murder in Belmont." Looking forward to the first book club meeting!!
